10 : 1
നോഹയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരായ ശേം, ഹാം, യാഫെത്ത് എന്നവരുടെ വംശപാരമ്പര്യമാവിതു: ജലപ്രളയത്തിന്റെ ശേഷം അവർക്കു പുത്രന്മാർ ജനിച്ചു.
Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

10 : 2
യാഫെത്തിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഗോമെർ, മാഗോഗ്, മാദായി, യാവാൻ, തൂബൽ, മേശെക്, തീരാസ്.
The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

10 : 3
ഗോമെരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: അസ്കെനാസ്, രീഫത്ത്, തോഗർമ്മാ.
And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

10 : 4
യാവാന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: എലീശാ, തർശീശ്, കിത്തീം, ദോദാനീം.
And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.

10 : 5
ഇവരാൽ ജാതികളുടെ ദ്വീപുകൾ അതതു ദേശത്തിൽ ഭാഷഭാഷയായും ജാതിജാതിയായും കുലംകുലമായും പിരിഞ്ഞു.
By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

10 : 6
ഹാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: കൂശ്, മിസ്രയീം, പൂത്ത്, കനാൻ.
And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan.

10 : 7
കൂശിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: സെബാ, ഹവീലാ, സബ്താ, രമാ, സബ്തെക്കാ; രമയുടെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ശെബയും ദെദാനും.
And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabtah, and Raamah, and Sabtechah: and the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.

10 : 8
കൂശ് നിമ്രോദിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; അവൻ ഭൂമിയിൽ ആദ്യവീരനായിരുന്നു.
And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

10 : 9
അവൻ യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നായാട്ടു വീരനായിരുന്നു; അതുകൊണ്ടു: യഹോവയുടെ മുമ്പാകെ നിമ്രോദിനെപ്പോലെ നായാട്ടു വീരൻ എന്നു പഴഞ്ചൊല്ലായി.
He was a mighty hunter before the LORD: wherefore it is said, Even as Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.

10 : 10
അവന്റെ രാജ്യത്തിന്റെ ആരംഭം ശിനാർദേശത്തു ബാബേൽ, ഏരെൿ, അക്കാദ്, കൽനേ എന്നിവ ആയിരുന്നു.
And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, and Erech, and Accad, and Calneh, in the land of Shinar.

10 : 11
ആ ദേശത്തനിന്നു അശ്ശൂർ പുറപ്പെട്ടു നീനവേ, രെഹോബത്ത് പട്ടണം, കാലഹ്,
Out of that land went forth Asshur, and builded Nineveh, and the city Rehoboth, and Calah,

10 : 12
നീനവെക്കും കാലഹിന്നും മദ്ധ്യേ മഹാനഗരമായ രേശെൻ എന്നിവ പണിതു.
And Resen between Nineveh and Calah: the same is a great city.

10 : 13
മിസ്രയീമോ; ലൂദീം, അനാമീം, ലെഹാബീം, നഫ്തൂഹീം, പത്രൂസീം, കസ്ളൂഹീം--
And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

10 : 14
ഇവരിൽനിന്നു ഫെലിസ്ഥ്യർ ഉത്ഭവിച്ചു-- കഫ്തോരീം എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (out of whom came Philistim,) and Caphtorim.

10 : 15
കനാൻ തന്റെ ആദ്യജാതനായ സീദോൻ, ഹേത്ത്,
And Canaan begat Sidon his first born, and Heth,

10 : 16
യെബൂസ്യൻ, അമോർയ്യൻ,
And the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgasite,

10 : 17
ഗിർഗ്ഗശ്യൻ, ഹിവ്യൻ, അർക്ക്യൻ, സീന്യൻ,
And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

10 : 18
അർവ്വാദ്യൻ, സെമാർയ്യൻ, ഹമാത്യൻ എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു. പിന്നീടു കനാന്യവംശങ്ങൾ പരന്നു.
And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite: and afterward were the families of the Canaanites spread abroad.

10 : 19
കനാന്യരുടെ അതിർ സീദോൻ തുടങ്ങി ഗെരാർവഴിയായി ഗസ്സാവരെയും സൊദോമും ഗൊമോരയും ആദ്മയും സെബോയീമും വഴിയായി ലാശവരെയും ആയിരുന്നു.
And the border of the Canaanites was from Sidon, as thou comest to Gerar, unto Gaza; as thou goest, unto Sodom, and Gomorrah, and Admah, and Zeboim, even unto Lasha.

10 : 20
ഇവർ അതതു ദേശത്തിൽ ജാതിജാതിയായും കുലംകുലമായും ഭാഷഭാഷയായും ഹാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.
These are the sons of Ham, after their families, after their tongues, in their countries, and in their nations.

10 : 21
ഏബെരിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർക്കൊക്കെയും പിതാവും യാഫെത്തിന്റെ ജ്യേഷ്ഠനുമായ ശേമിന്നും പുത്രന്മാർ ജനിച്ചു.
Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born.

10 : 22
ശേമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഏലാം, അശ്ശൂർ, അർപ്പക്ഷാദ്, ലൂദ്, അരാം.
The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram.

10 : 23
അരാമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ: ഊസ്, ഹൂൾ, ഗേഥെർ, മശ്.
And the children of Aram; Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Mash.

10 : 24
അർപ്പക്ഷാദ് ശാലഹിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ശാലഹ് ഏബെരിനെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു.
And Arphaxad begat Salah; and Salah begat Eber.

10 : 25
ഏബെരിന്നു രണ്ടു പുത്രന്മാർ ജനിച്ചു; ഒരുത്തുന്നു പേലെഗ് എന്നു പേർ; അവന്റെ കാലത്തായിരുന്നു ഭൂവാസികൾ പിരിഞ്ഞുപോയതു; അവന്റെ സഹോദരന്നു യൊക്താൻ എന്നു പേർ.
And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

10 : 26
യൊക്താനോ: അല്മോദാദ്,
And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

10 : 27
ശാലെഫ്, ഹസർമ്മാവെത്ത്, യാരഹ്, ഹദോരാം,
And Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

10 : 28
ഊസാൽ, ദിക്ലാ, ഓബാൽ, അബീമയേൽ,
And Obal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

10 : 29
ശെബാ, ഓഫീർ, ഹവീലാ, യോബാബ് എന്നിവരെ ജനിപ്പിച്ചു; ഇവർ എല്ലാവരും യൊക്താന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ ആയിരുന്നു.
And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab: all these were the sons of Joktan.

10 : 30
അവരുടെ വാസസ്ഥലം മേശാതുടങ്ങി കിഴക്കൻമലയായ സെഫാർവരെ ആയിരുന്നു.
And their dwelling was from Mesha, as thou goest unto Sephar a mount of the east.

10 : 31
ഇവർ അതതു ദേശത്തിൽ ജാതിജാതിയായും കുലംകുലമായും ഭാഷഭാഷയായും ശേമിന്റെ പുത്രന്മാർ.
These are the sons of Shem, after their families, after their tongues, in their lands, after their nations.

10 : 32
ഇവർ തന്നേ ജാതിജാതിയായും കുലംകുലമായും നോഹയുടെ പുത്രന്മാരുടെ വംശങ്ങൾ. അവരിൽനിന്നാകുന്നു ജലപ്രളയത്തിന്റെശേഷം ഭൂമിയിൽ ജാതികൾ പിരിഞ്ഞുപോയതു.
These are the families of the sons of Noah, after their generations, in their nations: and by these were the nations divided in the earth after the flood.
